Manukau Centre for Mechatronics
A working partnership
The Manukau Centre for Mechatronics (MCM) is a purpose-built facility that provides the collaborative link between education and industry. A vibrant environment offers organisations easy access to the latest advancements in technology, technical and research expertise as well as assistance to those wishing to access government research and development funding.
Located in East Tamaki, close to many manufacturing companies in the Manukau region, the centre hosts a range of modern mechanical, electrical, computer and electronic equipment. As well as introducing new mechatronics concepts to your staff, the centre’s facilities include:
- A modular production system for simulation of production processes suitable to provide technical and research solutions
- A training room with ten workspaces equipped with PLCs, touch screens, variable speed drives, computers and specialised software.
